Polyformaldehyde can replace ordinary industrial formaldehyde aqueous solution in the synthesis of various downstream products such as pesticides, synthetic resins, coatings, and fumigation disinfectants.
Used as a raw material for organic chemicals and synthetic resins, as well as a drug fumigant, polyformaldehyde is a solid formaldehyde with high formaldehyde content, which is in the form of solid particles and easy to store and transport.
① Pesticides: synthetic herbicides such as acetochlor, butachlor, and glyphosate;
② Paint: synthetic high-end automotive paint;
③ Resin: synthetic urea formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin, polyacetal resin, melamine resin, ion exchange resin, and various adhesives;
④ Paper making: synthetic paper reinforcement agent;
⑤ Casting: sand stripping agent, synthetic casting adhesive;
⑥ Animal husbandry: fumigation disinfectant.
⑦ Organic raw materials: used to prepare pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane, glycerol, acrylic acid, methyl acrylate, methacrylic acid, N-hydroxymethylacrylamide, alkylphenol, methyl vinyl ketone, etc.
⑧ Other: Medicine and disinfection. Used as a sterilizing agent, disinfectant, and fumigant. Used for organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industry.
