
1. Product Features:
A white powdery solid with a flammable odor of formaldehyde. It is a linear polymer of formaldehyde with no fixed melting point.
2. Uses:
Polyformaldehyde can replace ordinary industrial formaldehyde aqueous solution in the synthesis of various downstream products such as pesticides, synthetic resins, coatings, and fumigation disinfectants.
Used as a raw material for organic chemicals and synthetic resins, as well as a drug fumigant, polyformaldehyde is a solid formaldehyde with high formaldehyde content, which is in the form of solid particles and easy to store and transport.
① Pesticides: synthetic herbicides such as acetochlor, butachlor, and glyphosate;
② Paint: synthetic high-end automotive paint;
③ Resin: synthetic urea formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin, polyacetal resin, melamine resin, ion exchange resin, and various adhesives;
④ Paper making: synthetic paper reinforcement agent;
⑤ Casting: sand stripping agent, synthetic casting adhesive;
⑥ Animal husbandry: fumigation disinfectant.
⑦ Organic raw materials: used to prepare pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane, glycerol, acrylic acid, methyl acrylate, methacrylic acid, N-hydroxymethylacrylamide, alkylphenol, methyl vinyl ketone, etc.
⑧ Other: Medicine and disinfection. Used as a sterilizing agent, disinfectant, and fumigant. Used for organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industry.
3. Storage:
Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Stay away from sources of fire and heat. The storage temperature shall not exceed 32 ℃, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 80%. It should be stored separately from oxidants, reducing agents, acids, bases, etc., and avoid mixing storage. Adopt explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. Prohibit the use of mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to generating sparks. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leaked materials.
